It is through the abstraction of real things that I find what is not yet seen but full of possibility. Mixing custom paint colours and finding unexpected palette pairings is integral to my process. The placement or shift of a single colour can alter the entire weight of a piece. I enjoy the exchange between bold vibrancy and soft muted tones and the delicate contrasts found in these combinations. It is in these subtle shifts where the unseen unfolds. My work is inspired by the interplay between structure and emotion. I use geometry, colour, and abstraction to reinterpret landscapes and familiar forms.
