"The Nod to Nostalgia series started as an idea about childhood and faint memories. Each motif triggers a wave of new memories relating to the object. Those memories in turn spin off and we start to recall friends, games, songs, and the smell of the air, emotions, trips and conversations. Safe to say the memories are endless. This is how we bond, we exchange stories and relate to the trials and tribulations of the game. We reflect back to a time when things felt different and we remember those who were in our closest circle.

Who did you dedicate your mixtape to? Who forgot to feed your Tamagotchi? What did you name your Furby? Remember that time you almost beat the boss in Super Mario? I wanted each piece to serve as a cue card to awaken the memories and warmth in the viewer, in hopes to stimulate many conversations and of course laughter."
