‘Storm Watcher’ depicts the sun shinning through a clouded sky in a gold hue. Using gold foil in this painting creates a reflective surface that cannot be reproduced by paint or any other medium. It gives a sense of warmth, a feeling of ‘divinity’.

Colour and movement, the way light bounces off the trees and water, finding joy in the beauty of my environment - all of that have always been a life pleasure for Jill Sapiente. Her travels have brought her all over North America and beyond and became inspirations for all of her paintings.
