“My art serves as a powerful medium for exploring and expressing my experiences and emotions related to my journey of immigrating to Canada and finding your identity as a human and as a gay man. My current work may depict themes related to identity, such as cultural heritage, personal history, and the process of adapting to a new culture while preserving aspects of your original identity and rediscovering my new self. Through the years I’ve trying to define who i am as an artist, my pieces are filled with deep emotions, the journey that I’ve been through. Discrimination, not belonging, lack of support, understanding of my purpose in life. I juxtapose elements from different cultures, highlighting the contrast or harmony between my heritage and my new environment.

Recently my work has taken a turn since I’ve started to explore even deeper on my Personal Transformation, ironically my art went back to the beginning, to the “lines” or “doodles” i used to do as a child. Now in a bigger format and with intention my artistic expression may reflect the personal growth and transformation as I’ve  navigated the process of immigrating and adapting to a new country. My art is a visual narrative of my journey, offering viewers a glimpse into your experiences, thoughts, and emotions as you navigate the complex process of finding my identity."
