“Recreate II” is lush with vivid color, movement and a mix of intricate patterns designed to take the viewer on an intriguing journey.

With this painting, I explore how colors, flow, shapes, lines and patterns converge to tell their own story. Through intuitive works, I aim to express a sense of freedom, freshness and curiosity, inviting the viewer into a world of possibilities, intrigue and interpretation. Interestingly enough, these paintings have been reimagined.  Even though nothing remains to be seen of its previous existence, it is still deeply immersed in its new appearance, bringing forth an entirely unique vision for the viewer to experience."

With a principal focus on abstract, Sobo seems to consistently capture the essence of the human condition in her works. With a style that varies from the layering of colour to vibrant palette knife painting, she continues to grow in style and confidence with each new work. She also incorporates the tropical hues of her childhood bringing an effervescent, yet visceral feeling to the viewer.
