"Colour is at the essence of my work when I start a painting. The greens, turquoise and yellow in these pieces were chosen to evoke the serene and joyful energy of coastal landscapes. Lines, shapes and colours all work together to create the imaginary seashore, lagoons and cliffs along the ocean coast. My goal is to transport the viewer to a state of quiet and peaceful joy. "
