“I started this piece at the end of 2022 and finished it after coming back from a trip at the beginning of 2023. It represents the closing of one cycle and the beginning of a new one. 2022 was a year of pastels for me - a collection with showed my softer side, but also a year which was both exciting but difficult. This was the aftermath of that, and a rebirth - this is the first piece of a new collection full of strength and character. It is chaotic, poetic and bold. The new me.“

The work will be shipped from Guatemala and comes rolled in a tube for safety reasons and you can stretch it (we can assist) at any local framer or art shop. It is signed at the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity. *The buyer is responsible for any import charges.

Sarah Sky is a visual artist who was born in France, studied Literature in New York, and now lives in Guatemala. Her works explore the contrast between order and chaos, between the organic and the geometric. She employs various elements such as texture, opacities, layering, and paint drip techniques, which speak to the beauty and chaos of being alive.
