Born in Windsor ON, Blaine White is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist and a graduate of Fine Art from the University of Guelph. Inspired by his experience as a Canadian raised on the US/Canada border, his practice bridges interests in painting, Canadian history, theatre, fashion and the cinema. By combining traditional and contemporary imaging techniques, White creates pieces where we find the past and the present are not that dissimilar. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Toronto as well as Detroit and Milan, Italy. Blaine has paintings in private collections in across North America.
