"In my practice, I investigate the coexistence of nature and urban life using art to emphasize how we benefit by prioritizing a relationship at home with our natural world, while fostering respect and protection of our environment. By reflecting on our inner psychological landscape, for example through art, we have the capacity to not only contribute to our own personal growth but to our societal evolution.
Sunflowers for myself represent otherworldliness, almost from another time. So, to encounter them feels special, and fills me with happiness, awe and optimism. To imagine them even more grand and larger than life, sparking a childlike wonder, is my intention in this Surrealist approach that exemplifies how planting a seed is a belief in tomorrow.”
