"Part of 'Abstract Landscape' series. This collection was created from my imagination using various textures, colour combinations and shapes.

I love creating these abstract landscapes as each painting is a new adventure and I never know where it will lead me. Colours and shapes take on an energy of their own and each layer of texture and colour I add reinterprets my thoughts and emotions."

Loretta Kaltenhauser is an established, contemporary, award-winning Canadian artist. She creates works that are either abstract or have landscape elements to them. Using various brushes and palette knives, Loretta layers subtracts, and manipulates acrylic paint on canvas, to synthesize an intricate and distinct tableau.
