"Chickadees are such sweet little birds, aren’t they? I find it both soothing and amusing watching their antics at our backyard feeder. Now that spring is here, I’ve been seeing and hearing them more regularly. A true and welcoming sign of spring for sure!

Colour excites me and serves as creative inspiration for my cheerful, bold, and whimsical pieces. There’s something magical about how pigments of different colors interact to produce the most luscious, and sometimes unexpected, hues. I think that’s why I am primarily drawn to florals since there are so many variations of shades, tints, and tones that can describe the variety of flowers. I am constantly amazed at the range of emotions that art can evoke and I love sharing the joy I feel when I am painting. It definitely motivates me to keep creating art so that I can share those moments, again and again, one painting at a time”.
