ARTIST STATEMENT
“I love an exciting painting, especially those filled with lots of movement and intrigue and that is essentially what I intend to create. For me, the most important element of my art is energy. How I achieve this may vary and I play around with every component, whether its composition, lighting, colour, or subject. The goal is the same, to create a painting with impact, atmosphere, and inevitably, emotion. I’m influenced by impressionist artists but add my own style focusing on details and not just a loose representation. I want my art to have an impact. I don’t know a time where I haven’t made art, and I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon.”
