"What started as a single piece and study of the beautiful Lake Louise in Banff, Alberta, soon expanded to three pieces. I wanted to challenge myself with the use of colour in these pieces and capture the warmth of the morning, neutrality of the day, and cool tones as the sun dips below the horizon. So often in life, we can be in the same place, yet experience its wonders from a completely different perspective based on the outside impacts within our lives at that moment.  Each of these works celebrates the beauty of Lake Louise and its stunning transformation from warm to cool tones throughout the day, as impacted by the Sun."

Work by Toronto-based abstract artist Shaina Hardie aims to induce a sense of mindfulness and exploration of creativity: to spark conversation. She enjoys implementing color psychology into her work to compliment a myriad of desired emotions and productivity to enhance the design of corporate and living spaces.
