“This piece was created a little bit at a time and eventually it became an abstract landscape that feels solid, strong, and bold. It is as if I was sneakily painting a little bit of inspiration for later without even knowing it. I only noticed it all when the time was right to see it. I can see the waters, the rolling hills, and the sky all illuminated by the shining bright North Star that is guiding me through the night. 'The North Star' is a reminder to stay true to yourself, to make space and time to really listen to your heart, and your intuition will always lead the way.”
