"Ethereal comes from the Greek word for ether, which means ‘Air’. An ethereal substance or sound is one that carries the feeling of light and air — something you might see in a vision that strikes you as heavenly.
"The Ethereal collection has been inspired by my new surroundings. On my long walks, I picked up some dried wildflowers for inspiration. Autumn carries profound symbolism, mirroring the transitions we experience in our own lives. Embracing the fall season can be a powerful teacher, urging us to embrace change, let go of what no longer serves us, and find beauty in the impermanence of life."
Canadian artist Bibiana has been refining her skills in abstract florals and landscape paintings for the past several years. She started off as a realistic painter, but that didn’t excite her. She wanted to tap into a more intuitive way of painting. She likes working with acrylics, fluid acrylics and inks… exploring how these mediums work together in layers on a canvas and water-colour paper.
