Listening to Flowers, 14" x 11"
Acrylic on Canvas. 14 x 11 x 1.5 inches.
“In my practice, I investigate the coexistence of nature and urban life using art to emphasize how we benefit by prioritizing a relationship at home with our natural world, while fostering respect and protection of our environment. By reflecting on our inner psychological landscape, for example through art, we have the capacity to not only contribute to our own personal growth but to our societal evolution.
The soft and gentle, poetic message we might hear when listening to flowers, may only be received when one becomes quiet, and receptive to communicating with nature and ultimately with ourselves. Perhaps flowers should have a larger part, or at the very least, hold a larger focus in our world. Bringing happiness, joy and inspiration to all those who take the time to really see and perhaps listen to a flower.”
