"This piece is meant to bloom with emotion—lush strokes of green, blue, and pink swirl together like memories of warm sun, rustling leaves, and shared silences. It’s a heartfelt escape into nature’s calm—a place to feel held, grounded, and free.

I was born and raised in East Vancouver, a vibrant and multicultural neighbourhood that continues to shape the way I see and experience the world. The natural beauty of the mountains, forests, and ocean on the West coast is a constant source of inspiration in my art."

Sarb Glaze is a Canadian abstract expressionist artist whose creative process is rooted in emotional intuition and sensory memory. Her paintings explore the intersection between movement and stillness, chaos and calm. She is inspired by the energy and authenticity of youth and the quiet rhythms and tactile qualities of nature—two sources of spontaneity and presence that ground her work. These aspects guide the way she approaches both colour and form. The forms, though abstract, have an organic quality reminiscent of natural elements, evoking a sense of growth and movement. Her work is known for its emotive gestural strokes and layered palettes, using both vibrant and muted tones to evoke emotional depth and childlike wonder. The way colours interact is meant to create an engaging visual tension that holds attention and encourages prolonged contemplation.
