"The series Unforeseen relates to the theme "Points of Orientation" by highlighting the tension between uncertainty and the search for direction. In each piece, luminosity becomes a metaphor for grounding oneself amid ambiguity, revealing that true orientation comes not from knowing what lies ahead, but from engaging deeply with our immediate experiences and inner compass. This mirrors the exhibition's focus on art as a grounding force, emphasizing that true orientation arises through engagement with the present and openness to discovery. The metaphor of moving forward through a ghostly veil reinforces the idea that clarity and meaning are revealed gradually, only as we actively navigate the unknown.
To slow down a moment in time, to reveal the hidden beauty often overlooked by the hurried eye … I aim to offer a respite of peace and serenity where one can sink into the calm, hear the whispers of their own heart and find an intimate yet universal place of belonging. To bridge the liminal space between the outer and inner worlds, I use the medium of photography. Inspired by moods and atmospheres that are both earthy and ethereal, my photographs are fragments of time, distilled and transformed.”
