“The word Iona has Greek origin and means to be blessed. I created this beautiful multilayer painting as an act of celebration for all the good things we have in life which we sometimes forget to appreciate. All of us are blessed to live on this beautiful planet. “Iona Tree” became an extremely colourful celebration of Life and all the good things we have in our lives. The painting has four layers of oil paintings, and it is pastous with a rich and thick texture. It is full of vivid and sumptuous colours. This stunning piece took me almost a year to complete.”
